The Ask
Blue Diamond Pools builds beautiful pools. That was never in question. The problem was their social media feed didn't fully represent the variety of their work or their service area. They needed a way to show potential clients in Barrie, Orillia, or a farm in Tiny Township that they’ve built a pool just like the one they're dreaming of, right in their neighbourhood. The request was simple: go out and capture the proof.
Our Approach
This wasn't a single-day shoot. It was a logistical puzzle of coordinating with a dozen different homeowners across Simcoe County, all while chasing the best sunlight. We scheduled shoots from sunup to sundown to capture everything from early morning steam to ambient evening lighting. Our goal wasn't just to take pictures of water in a hole. We wanted to capture the specific details that made each project unique—the clean lines of a rectangular lap pool, the natural curve of a freeform installation, the stonework on a custom waterfall, and the way a small plunge pool can transform a tight space. We shot wide to show how the pool integrated into the landscape and tight to highlight the quality of the finishing.
The Result
Blue Diamond now has a deep, authentic library of images they can draw on for months. Their social feeds are now a genuine reflection of their capabilities, showcasing everything from sprawling family-sized pools to compact, modern designs. When a customer asks if they can build on a tricky, sloped lot, they don't have to just say "yes"—they can show them a picture of one they’ve already done. It’s evergreen, practical content that does the heavy lifting of demonstrating their expertise. No paid ad can replicate the trust built by showing real work, done well.
