The Goal
The Look Company handles the branding and visual dressing for massive global events. With the 2026 FIFA World Cup spread across North America, their task was exponentially bigger than any single-city event. They needed more than a simple sizzle reel. They needed a video that documented their process from initial site surveys to the final banner being hoisted into place. The brief was straightforward: capture the scale, the logistics, and the precision of the operation for their own marketing and for future bids on projects like the Olympics. Don't miss a thing.
The Process
Our job was to be everywhere at once, without getting in the way of crews working on tight, unmovable deadlines. We embedded with their teams in Vancouver, covering everything from the printing of kilometers of signage to the complex logistics of installation. We filmed overnight as crews wrapped BC Place stadium, captured drone footage of the city’s transformation, and documented the installation of everything from lamppost banners to massive building murals. The main challenge was the sheer scale and the unforgiving timeline. We worked around unpredictable weather, street closures, and the general controlled chaos that comes with preparing for millions of visitors. Turns out, hanging a five-story banner on a skyscraper isn't a one-take affair.
The Final Cut
We delivered a primary brand film, a dozen social media cutdowns, and a comprehensive photo library for their internal and external use. The final film isn’t a highlight reel of soccer goals. It’s a testament to the quiet, coordinated effort required to make a global event look and feel cohesive. We focused on the human element—the project managers, engineers, and installers—and the frankly absurd scale of the hardware involved. The Look Company now has a powerful sales tool that shows, rather than tells, potential clients how they handle immense pressure and deliver flawless results on the world stage.
